About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Disney’s operating and financial priorities for the global investment community
  • Lead significant portions of analytical workflows, including consensus modeling, peer benchmarking, and shareholder targeting
  • Develop, review, and refine deliverables for quarterly earnings cycles
  • Partner with FP&A, Controllership, and segment finance teams to synthesize financial and operational information
  • Lead internal analyses and ad hoc projects, including executive- and Board-level presentations
  • Build and maintain relationships with investors and sell-side analysts
  • Support conferences, roadshows, and one-on-one meetings
  • Track and synthesize investment community and competitive landscape insights
  • Prepare executives and segment leadership for earnings announcements, investor conferences, and Board meetings
  • Develop speaking points, Q&A, and executive-level presentations
  • Simplify complex ideas and align cross-functional partners around investor messaging
  • Improve analytical processes, reporting, and communication tools

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong financial acumen with proficiency in quantitative analysis, financial modeling, equity markets, financial statements, and investor communications
  • Experience supporting or leading investor relations, finance, equity research, or related functions
  • Direct exposure to earnings processes, investor meetings, or analyst engagement
  • Exceptional project management skills and experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams under tight deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to craft clear, compelling narratives and executive-level presentations
  • High standard for accuracy, polish, and disciplined self-review
  • Acute attention to detail in analyses and materials
  • Proactive, strategic problem-solving ability
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across corporate and segment functions
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Bachelor’s Degree + in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, finance, equity research, investment banking, or related disciplines
  • MBA or other advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
  • Media, entertainment, or related industry experience preferred
