About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create and maintain shared JavaScript libraries and UI components to drive efficiency at scale for front-end development
Implement business logic for various tool workflows
Review JavaScript and TypeScript code
Act as a tech leader for various projects and initiatives
Employ test-driven development and agile development practices
Partner with product and program partners for delivery
Understand system performance and scalability
Provide technical support for outages and incidents
Build tools for workflows and reporting on the digital supply chain
Build shared libraries and services for Content Platforms engineering teams
Build enhanced AI capabilities to accelerate development from ideation and proof-of-concept through production-level software
Perform other duties as needed to achieve business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Mastery of HTTP server and proxy technologies such as HA Proxy, NGINX, Apache
Mastery of ReactJS
Extensive experience with NodeJS and/or Java/Kotlin programming
Extensive experience with cloud native technologies such as AWS EC2, Fargate, and Cloudfront
Experience with frontend web development technologies and principles
Experience with task automation
Ability to research, learn, assess, and evangelize new technologies
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Driven and self-motivated
BS Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in web development or software engineering
Experience with React Native
Previous work experience in media distribution
Experience building AI-driven software
Experience working with vendor teams to deliver high quality results
Knowledge of performance testing and application profiling
