About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain shared JavaScript libraries and UI components

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in web development or software engineering
  • Mastery of HTTP server and proxy technologies such as HAProxy, NGINX, and Apache
  • Extensive experience with NodeJS and/or Java/Kotlin programming
  • Extensive experience with cloud-native technologies such as AWS EC2, Fargate, and CloudFront
  • Experience with frontend web development technologies and principles
  • Experience with task automation
  • Ability to research, learn, assess, and evangelize new technologies
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent
  • Previous work experience in media distribution preferred
  • Experience building AI-driven software preferred
  • Experience working with vendor teams to deliver high-quality results preferred
  • Knowledge of performance testing and application profiling preferred
  • Experience with React Native preferred
