About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build various tools to empower workflows and reporting on the digital supply chain
  • Build shared libraries and services for Content Platforms engineering teams
  • Build enhanced AI capabilities to accelerate the development process
  • Create and maintain shared JavaScript libraries and UI components
  • Implement business logic for tool workflows
  • Review JavaScript and TypeScript code
  • Act as a tech leader for projects and initiatives
  • Employ test-driven development and agile development practices
  • Partner with product and program partners for delivery
  • Understand system performance and scalability
  • Provide technical support for outages and incidents
  • Perform other duties as needed to achieve business objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mastery of HTTP server and proxy technologies such as HA Proxy, NGINX, Apache
  • Mastery of ReactJS
  • Extensive experience with NodeJS and/or Java/Kotlin programming
  • Extensive experience with cloud native technologies such as AWS EC2, Fargate, and Cloudfront
  • Experience with frontend web development technologies and principles
  • Experience with task automation
  • Ability to research, learn, assess, and evangelize new technologies
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • BS Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in web development or software engineering
  • Previous work experience in media distribution
  • Experience building AI driven software
  • Experience working with vendor teams to deliver high quality results
  • Knowledge of performance testing and application profiling
  • Experience with React Native
