Chief Marketing Officer

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and execute a national marketing strategy scaling revenue and brand reputation across multiple states
- Own the full funnel across paid media, SEO/SEM, PR, TV/radio, influencer, community outreach, and brand storytelling
- Lead and grow a team of 15–25+ marketers across social, digital, paid, creative, and content
- Hire, mentor, and build internal career pathways for top talent
- Define and track campaign KPIs including CAC, CPL, cost-per-signed-case, and ROI
- Build dashboards and reporting cadences driving weekly and monthly strategic decisions
- Localize campaigns for Miami, Orlando, NYC, and Texas markets, including bilingual English/Spanish audiences
- Navigate state-specific Bar and legal advertising compliance requirements
- Own a $10M+ annual marketing budget
- Negotiate vendor and media contracts and hold partners accountable to ROI
- Serve on the Executive Leadership Team and translate marketing performance into business strategy for firm leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in senior marketing leadership (CMO, VP, SVP)
- 7+ direct reports and teams of 20+
- Track record scaling marketing in a company that grew from $50M to $250M+, with 30%+ YoY growth
- Managed $10M+ annual budgets with demonstrable ROI
- Deep full-funnel expertise: SEO, Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, TV/radio, PR, influencer
- Experience with Salesforce, CallRail, Google Analytics, and AI-driven marketing tools
- Experience in a regulated industry such as legal, healthcare, insurance, or financial services
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- Strongly preferred: bilingual English/Spanish
- Strongly preferred: experience marketing to Hispanic/multicultural audiences
- Strongly preferred: multi-state expansion experience
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; employment is contingent upon identity and work authorization verification
