About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organisations, local authorities, housing providers, health services, charities and referral partners
  • Develop and strengthen referral pathways for HEAT support
  • Promote HEAT through presentations, workshops, community events and partner meetings
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and extend community reach
  • Collaborate with the Team Lead and operational colleagues to ensure appropriate, timely referrals and positive customer outcomes
  • Share partner and community insights to improve services and customer experience
  • Support targeted seasonal awareness and referral campaigns
  • Monitor partnership activity, referral trends and engagement
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, partnership activity and referrals
  • Contribute to team objectives and demonstrate the impact of community engagement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence delivering presentations, workshops and community engagement activities
  • Ability to develop trusted partnerships with a wide range of organisations
  • Proactive, organised approach with ability to manage competing priorities
  • Experience working with community organisations, voluntary sector partners or external stakeholders (desirable)
  • Confidence to identify opportunities, build networks and influence others
  • Good organisational and digital skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to use information and feedback to identify trends and improve engagement activity
  • Genuine commitment to improving outcomes for households experiencing fuel poverty and financial hardship
