About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with DWP and Jobcentres, local authorities, community and voluntary organisations, education and skills providers, housing, health and other local systems
  • Represent the Wise Group and help partners understand Jobs Guarantee and the wider organisation’s impact
  • Build and maintain knowledge of Glasgow City, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde and Argyll & Bute
  • Map organisations, networks, decision-makers, local priorities, gaps, relationships and emerging opportunities
  • Connect existing Wise Group relationship holders and avoid duplicate approaches
  • Strengthen participant pathways by connecting young people with organisations offering meaningful support and opportunities
  • Encourage joined-up working and warm connections among organisations supporting participants
  • Gather and share intelligence from frontline colleagues, participants, partners and local systems
  • Identify recurring themes, service gaps and wider opportunities
  • Turn local intelligence and relationships into collaboration, stronger pathways, influence or future opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with Employment Pathways, Quality Improvement & Innovation and the Operations Manager
  • Maintain accurate information about partnership activity, commitments and opportunities

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strong knowledge or established networks within one or more Jobs Guarantee areas particularly valuable
