About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist clients 1:1 inside their homes
- Provide personal care including dressing, bathing, grooming, and assistance with meals
- Perform light housekeeping, basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing
- Drive clients to appointments
- Run errands and grocery shopping
- Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other activities
- Provide social and emotional support to aging adults
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- At least 18 years of age
- HCA Registration with the State of California, including meeting state background requirements; registration can be obtained upon hire
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to a fully insured personal vehicle
- TB Clearance or Chest X-Ray
- Must be able to work in San Francisco or Marin County
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Must comply with state background screening requirements
- Positive fingerprint identification required as a condition of employment
- Must not have a non-exemptible crime conviction under applicable laws
