About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct telephone pre-screening interviews with prospective clinical research participants, focusing on obesity and weight-management clinical trials
  • Collect, review, and accurately document medical history, medications, health conditions, weight history, and study-specific eligibility information
  • Assess patients against established study eligibility criteria using approved screening guidelines
  • Schedule qualified patients for consent and screening visits
  • Update and maintain patient records and eligibility status in clinical databases
  • Coordinate recruiting activities, including outbound calls, inbound inquiries, voicemail management, and text communications
  • Support patient outreach initiatives to increase enrollment in clinical research studies at Trialmed sites
  • Collaborate with research coordinators and clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience
  • Explain clinical research opportunities clearly and build rapport with prospective participants

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in Patient Recruitment or comparable experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • Strong customer service and telephone communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to discuss sensitive health and weight-related topics with empathy, tact, and professionalism
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Dedicated home office and reliable internet connection
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
