About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide timely comparator market intelligence and research, including pricing, availability, lead time and sourcing constraints
Provide sourcing recommendations using current market options and future outlook
Advise on regional and central/local/hybrid sourcing strategies
Evaluate additional packaging or labelling requirements with the client
Place purchase orders for comparator supply when required and oversee purchasing and delivery
Escalate temperature excursions, quality issues and other concerns to the client
Act as a subject matter expert on comparator sourcing, market trends, innovation options, product shortages, regulatory landscape and demand fluctuations
Communicate external comparator-sourcing trends and updates to support innovation and operational performance
Collaborate with the client’s Comparators and Collaborations team and functions including Clinical Operations, Clinical Supply Chain, Regulatory and Procurement
Work on varied client portfolio projects or specialize in a project

Requirements

What you’ll need

BSc or equivalent in scientific discipline
Strong experience in pharmaceutical industry (pharma, vaccines or consumer healthcare)
Strong project and performance delivery
Ability to influence, negotiate and communicate across a range of business levels
Continuous improvement mindset
Responsive and agile to changing business priorities
Knowledge of supply chain activities in a pharmaceutical or vaccine background preferred
Knowledge of CMC medicine development and all phases of clinical trials preferred
Experience in supplier relationship management and building relationships with third-party providers preferred
