About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Clean, inspect, and detail the pre-repair condition of repairs
  • Perform system and component failure analysis using validated diagnostic troubleshooting techniques
  • Replace non-conforming and preventive maintenance parts as needed
  • Test and calibrate completed repairs
  • Provide comprehensive test data, documentation, and service reporting
  • Handle record keeping for Return Authorizations, Service Quotes, and Service Orders
  • Drive lean practices and continuous improvement events within the service business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 year Technical College / Vocational Program Degree or meaningful service work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast paced multi-tasking service and/or customer support environment
  • Ability to use tools and multi-meters
  • Basic knowledge of analytical instrumentation, environmental chemistry, pneumatics, and mechanics
  • Ability to follow work instructions, test procedures, wiring diagrams, schematics, and repairs through to completion
  • Some experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with database applications (CRM and ERP tools)
  • Some degree of PPE required, including safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, or ear plugs
