About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the North America go-to-market strategy for Thermo Fisher Scientific’s ImmunoDiagnostics Division across Allergy and Autoimmunity portfolios
- Shape the regional growth agenda and translate divisional strategy into integrated audience, portfolio and channel plans
- Build and lead a high-performing organization of approximately 15 colleagues, including five direct reports
- Align marketing functions around value propositions, audience journeys, channel strategies and conversion objectives
- Identify growth opportunities and make portfolio and resource choices
- Drive utilization, market share, revenue and margin growth
- Build demand generation across payor, healthcare professional, laboratory, health-system and patient audiences
- Own regional portfolio strategy, positioning, messaging, lifecycle priorities and launch readiness
- Set the vision for digital and omnichannel customer experiences across web, search, social, content, marketing automation and customer journeys
- Translate customer, key opinion leader and market insights into roadmaps, forecasts and portfolio decisions
- Equip sales teams with content, tools, platforms, training and field support
- Set strategy for congresses, trade shows, advocacy, public relations, influencer and thought-leadership programs
- Establish marketing KPIs, closed-loop reporting, ROI frameworks and continuous-improvement initiatives using data, AI and automation
- Own the regional marketing budget and forecast
- Ensure marketing activities and communications meet regulatory, privacy, quality, cybersecurity and industry requirements
- Partner with Sales, Global Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Operations, Product Development, Analytics and strategic customers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing, commercial, sales or strategy experience in diagnostics, medical devices, life sciences or another regulated healthcare market
- At least 5 years in a senior marketing or commercial leadership role
- Record of building, coaching and leading high-performing teams
- Success translating strategy into demand generation, market development, commercialization and sustainable revenue growth
- Strong understanding of the North American diagnostics ecosystem
- Experience leading a multi-disciplinary organization spanning product marketing, marketing operations and events, digital experience and creative, market development, and customer success
- Command of segmentation, targeting and positioning, portfolio and brand strategy across digital, content, events, sales enablement and customer-experience channels
- Strong financial and analytical acumen, including annual planning, budget ownership, forecasting, KPI design, marketing ROI and funnel management
- Ability to use data, AI, automation and process improvement responsibly
- Ability to influence in a matrixed, multinational organization and align senior stakeholders
- Excellent executive communication, judgment, change leadership and decision-making skills
- Scientific and product acumen, including clinical or health-economic evidence, guidelines, reimbursement and market-access strategies
- Customer-first orientation, strong business acumen and willingness to engage directly with customers, key opinion leaders and field teams
- Ability to travel significantly within North America and internationally, approximately 30%
- Agency-management and digital-strategy experience strongly preferred
