About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape LCD’s long-term strategy and strategic priorities with the Division President and Divisional Leadership Team
- Own and lead STRAP, integrating market, customer, competitive, portfolio, operational, technology, and financial perspectives
- Identify opportunities to accelerate growth, strengthen competitive advantage, and improve profitability
- Develop strategic scenarios, business cases, and recommendations for key business decisions
- Build alignment across Business Units and functions around strategic choices and priorities
- Lead Strategy Deployment by translating STRAP into initiatives, A3s, KPIs, milestones, financial commitments, and accountable owners
- Establish operating cadence to track performance, resolve barriers, and accelerate execution
- Prioritize resources and leadership attention against high-impact initiatives
- Partner with Finance on business cases, benefit targets, and tracking realized impact
- Deploy two Program Managers to execute key strategic initiatives
- Lead cross-functional transformation and change initiatives across LCD
- Build and drive a pipeline for sustainable earnings improvement, productivity, margin expansion, growth, and working-capital improvement
- Drive improvements in business processes, capabilities, operating models, and ways of working
- Establish governance and accountability for transformation milestones, risks, and benefit realization
- Serve as strategic advisor and thought partner to the Division President and Divisional Leadership Team
- Bring an enterprise perspective to growth, customer, operational, organizational, and financial decisions
- Build alignment and mobilize teams across Business Units, regions, and functions
- Foster accountability, execution, and continuous improvement
- Own the division’s AI, Innovation, and business transformation roadmap
- Lead initiatives translating AI and innovative concepts into scalable business solutions
- Establish business cases, success measures, adoption plans, and value tracking for AI initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, Finance, or related discipline
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience across strategy, business transformation, operations, commercial leadership, business development, or general management
- Proven ability to translate strategy into measurable business results
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional transformation and change
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience driving growth, productivity, margin expansion, and earnings improvement
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and align senior leaders across a global organization
- Enterprise mindset, bias for action, and ability to lead effectively through ambiguity and change
- Demonstrated potential for broader P&L and General Manager leadership
- Life Sciences, Laboratory Products, Chemicals, Scientific Products, or related industry experience preferred
