About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Achieve assigned territory revenue goals by pursuing sales opportunities with current and potential customers
- Develop a robust sales pipeline and proactively build strong customer relationships
- Collaborate with and train channel partners to develop and close sales opportunities
- Seek and promote new business opportunities through Thermo Fisher Scientific's broad product portfolio
- Engage appropriate colleagues to maximize company results
- Participate in assigned corporate and focus account initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree required; Life Sciences, STEM or Business preferred
- 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the laboratory or relevant industry
- Selling agility, including identifying and qualifying opportunities, creating innovative solutions, and closing business
- Customer and market knowledge, needs discovery, value articulation, and customer support
- Relationship-building, results orientation, time management, and ethical decision-making
- Product and technology knowledge and ability to apply business processes
- Required travel approximately 75% of the time
