About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Demonstrate safe work habits and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines
- Participate in Tier 1 meetings
- Support team preparedness and room preparation activities
- Maintain GMP Kanban supporting manufacturing operations
- Support continuous improvement in process operations and systems
- Support tech transfer activities
- Seek and welcome feedback and respond to coaching
- Spend at least 80–90% of time on the manufacturing floor
- Work closely with related functional areas to achieve production goals and timelines
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements
- Manage inventory supplies
- Perform manufacturing associate duties in a cleanroom and laboratory setting
- Work with hazardous/toxic materials while following GMP, PPE, and safety requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience or superior demonstration of skill sets or background
- Experience in a cGMP environment, Visual Inspection, Aseptic techniques, GDP preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow procedures
- Ability to maintain aseptic qualification
- Ability to maintain qualifications to work in a cleanroom environment
- Ability to work closely and effectively in a team environment
- Initiative and drive to accomplish the job timely, accurately, and safely the first time
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
- Knowledge and skills in pharmaceutical processes, equipment, instrumentation, and procedures
- Adherence to all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements used within cGMP manufacturing
- Ability to gown aseptically and/or sterile gown as needed
- Ability to write, read, and review written documentation for extended periods
- Specific vision requirements including close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to work 7:00am–3:30pm Monday to Friday
- Ability to work overtime as needed
