About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Respond to technical and medical information inquiries by phone, email, internet, or mail regarding pharmaceutical or device products
  • Process fulfillments and provide clinical trial information or after-hours on-call support
  • Analyze questions and formulate accurate, concise responses using client-approved resources
  • Record inquiries and interactions in appropriate databases according to organizational, client, and regulatory guidelines
  • Identify, record, and triage adverse events and product complaints, including follow-up support
  • Maintain knowledge of project and corporate policies, client products, SOPs, protocols, GCPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external client contacts to resolve complex inquiries
  • Research medical literature and draft responses as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
  • Active North Carolina RN license required or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) equivalency
  • Previous experience comparable to 0 to 2 years
  • Equivalency may consist of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent language skills, including comprehension, speaking, reading and writing; fluency in a second language may be required
  • Proficient computer and keyboarding skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to interpret complex medical and technical information
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in challenging circumstances
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, occasional long varied hours, and occasional travel
