About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Market assigned controlled environment products in the assigned geographic territory to exceed territory forecasts
  • Train and partner with Laboratory Equipment Representatives to identify and close controlled environment sales opportunities
  • Promote the organization’s breadth of product offerings during sales calls
  • Develop detailed business plans for the assigned geography and review them quarterly with the District Sales Manager
  • Establish business relationships with architects, casework dealers, and lab planners to grow the new construction opportunity pipeline
  • Update company CRM sales funnel reports for monthly sales forecasting and product build plans
  • Provide monthly and quarterly commitments of forecasted bookings and own forecast accuracy

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in the Life Sciences preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of highly successful laboratory sales experience required; controlled environment experience desired
  • Approximately 50% travel
  • Exceptional analytical capability and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with bias for action
  • Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities
  • Substantiated capability to effectively negotiate and close business
