About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the commercial development of the PDX business in Austria and Switzerland
  • Lead, coach, and develop the PDX field sales team in Austria and Switzerland
  • Implement regional sales and product strategies in collaboration with Business Units, Marketing, and Regional Management
  • Manage sales activities based on KPIs, forecasts, and business reviews
  • Foster a customer-centric, data-driven, and performance-oriented sales culture
  • Identify market opportunities and develop and implement sustainable growth strategies
  • Support strategic projects as well as pricing and contract negotiations
  • Ensure cross-divisional collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Build and maintain internal and external networks at regional and international levels
  • Manage key accounts and other customers within the assigned sales territory
  • Build and develop long-term relationships with clinical, commercial, and operational decision-makers
  • Own revenue growth, pipeline management, and sustainable growth within the assigned territory
  • Position PDX solutions through needs-based consulting and a strong customer presence
  • Deliver customer presentations and training sessions, and implement sales support initiatives
  • Analyze market, competitor, and customer developments
  • Prepare forecasts and use CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce and Power BI
  • Professionally document and manage customer-related activities
  • Assume the supervisor’s duties as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in a natural science from a university of applied sciences or university, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of successful sales experience in life sciences, medical technology, or healthcare
  • Experience managing key accounts and complex sales projects
  • Initial or several years of leadership experience in a sales environment is an advantage
  • Strong sales and commercial skills
  • Experience in strategic sales and customer management
  • Proficiency in forecasting, KPI management, and pipeline management
  • Good knowledge of CRM and reporting tools, such as Salesforce and Power BI
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent MS Office skills
  • Strong customer and service orientation
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a high degree of initiative
  • Analytical and structured approach to work
  • Team spirit, assertiveness, and diplomatic skills
  • Ability to quickly understand complex relationships and develop pragmatic solutions
  • Very good written and spoken German and English
  • Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel as required
