About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Map product and account data from third-party sources to business-unit-specific assignments for sales compensation
- Create mapping tables linking data sources and continuously automate manual processes
- Communicate with, engage, and influence internal and external team members
- Act as intermediary between the sales compensation team and internal distribution partners
- Troubleshoot B2B misalignments, unmapped data, and new account assignments
- Support annual year-end data mapping, including applying upcoming-year configuration changes to historical data
- Assign monthly commission revenue and support commission payments
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial teams
- Explain financial data and reporting insights across functions
- Identify obstacles and provide timely input on resolutions
- Drive automation, standardization, and consistency
- Perform manual adjustments and revenue reconciliation
- Determine product bag by position type through data analysis
- Build and align sales territories and set and manage quotas for Life Sciences Group in North America
- Manage workflows, timelines, cross-functional communication, and process improvements
- Assist with manual mapping of account/product revenue to selling teams
- Connect data streams to ensure clean product and account assignments through system automation and database hygiene
- Report to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations and partner with IT, Finance, and Sales organizations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required
- 3–5 years of sales operations, commercial finance, or FP&A experience required
- Strong Excel and data management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- CRM and Salesforce experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Corporate Operations, Research and Product offerings, Finance, Compensation, Commercial Sales Alignment, and IT/CRM processes
- Ability to influence and interact with internal and external partners
- Resourceful in researching problems, finding answers, sharing information, and providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and maintain focus on monthly deliverables with strict deadlines
- Ability to maintain professional composure in a dynamic and matrixed work environment
