About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own day-to-day bookkeeping for ThetaRay’s Israeli, UK and US entities in NetSuite
- Manage multi-entity, multi-currency accounting end to end
- Serve as the primary contact for external accounting firms in the UK and US
- Process vendor invoices, maintain vendor master data, reconcile vendor statements and communicate with vendors
- Prepare semi-monthly payment runs and verify purchase orders and approvals in Zip
- Handle payments to tax authorities, including VAT, withholding tax and National Insurance
- Manage Mesh corporate-card transactions, receipts and coding
- Support travel and expense reconciliation
- Perform bank reconciliations for all entities and currencies
- Support the weekly cash-flow forecast
- Handle monthly-close activities, including accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation, intercompany balances and recurring journal entries
- Keep UK and US books in-house while coordinating with external accountants responsible for statutory filings and financial statements
- Prepare schedules and supporting documents for annual audits
- Follow approval and segregation-of-duties controls
- Use AI tools in daily work and help design and maintain AI agents for recurring bookkeeping checks
- Support ad hoc finance projects and requests from the Finance Manager and VP Finance
- Report to the Finance Manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a high-tech company
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite — must
- Experience with Mesh and Dokka — must
- Experience with multiple entities and multiple currencies, including foreign subsidiaries
- Strong knowledge of Israeli VAT, withholding tax and National Insurance payments
- Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and SUMIFS
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Able to work autonomously and own processes end to end
- Highly organized and accurate; meets close deadlines
- Comfortable with new technology and a quick learner
- Practical experience with AI assistants, such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot — advantage
- Experience building or maintaining AI agents or automated workflows — advantage
- Experience working with external accounting firms abroad — advantage
- Experience with Zip, HiBob and Navan — advantage
- Audit support experience with a Big Four firm — advantage
