About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Become an expert with Thimble’s products and services
- Support onboarding for new brokers while delivering excellent customer service
- Provide guidance and best practices on configuring and using the Thimble Broker Portal
- Assist new and existing customers with inquiries and resolve questions or issues
- Increase conversion by bringing product and insurance knowledge to the purchase experience
- Meet defined Service Level Agreements for customer service requests
- Provide customer and broker support via email, chat, and phone
- Serve as the front line between customers and Thimble, leaving a positive impression and developing lasting relationships
- Assist with side projects for the insurance and product teams
- Collaborate with other teams and provide feedback on customer and broker experiences
- Complete product, policy, software, and broker-base training during the first 30 days
- Respond to most tickets by 60 days with team support
- Own the assigned area and provide fully skilled email and chat support by 90 days
- Integrate with other teams and collaborate on Thimble projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Property & Casualty Insurance license is required
- Small commercial business insurance experience is highly preferred
- Prior work with insurance brokers or agencies
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume support or customer service environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Highly organized with ruthless attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changes and learn quickly
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Located on the West Coast in the Pacific Time Zone
