About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide exceptional customer service to Treasury Management customers and internal bank personnel
  • Develop new business relationships and expand existing relationships using a professional and consultative sales approach
  • Stay abreast of current products, policies, technology, industry trends and pricing
  • Develop and execute a strategy to generate new deposits and treasury customers
  • Demonstrate knowledge of treasury management services and educate customers on features, benefits and value propositions
  • Conduct sales presentations, negotiate pricing and provide cost analysis
  • Complete documentation, bank-system implementation and customer setup of Treasury Management products and services
  • Respond professionally and accurately to customer service inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
  • Manage individual pipeline and tasks and support department functions during staff absences or overload situations
  • Support development and maintenance of procedures, policies and systems for compliance and customer satisfaction
  • Travel as needed; expected travel is 25%-50% of the time
  • Assist with audits and examinations as needed
  • Facilitate training for bank personnel on Treasury Management services
  • Generate or support ideas for Treasury Management products and services
  • Assist with special projects such as RDC updates, Online Banking or app enhancements, and new product launches
  • No supervisory responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or university
  • 5 years experience in banking as customer service representative, retail operations, treasury management support or sales
  • Proficient knowledge of online banking, electronic payments such as ACH and Wires, remote deposits, and account analysis
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; word processing, and spreadsheet software programs
  • Intermediate math skills; ability to calculate interest, account analysis earnings credit, and cost analysis
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to instruct others, train personnel, and write reports/memos/correspondence
  • Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standard situations
  • Ability to perform at a high level of competency with no supervision while performing duties
  • Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities
  • Ability to accommodate reading documents or instruments, detailed work, problem solving, customer contact, reasoning, math, language, presentations, verbal and written communication, analytical reasoning, stress, multiple concurrent tasks and constant interruptions
  • Ability to perform physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds, driving, carrying, sitting, pulling, walking, standing, squatting, kneeling and reaching
