Key responsibilities & impact

Provide dependency case management services to families with verified abuse history and an open dependency case
Provide services, linkage, and care coordination for high-need youth in out-of-home care
Engage kin and fictive kin adults to increase protective capacities and establish a stable, safe home for youth
Manage crises
Link youth and caregivers to service providers
Write court reports
Testify in court
Complete face-to-face engagement with youth and families in the community
Provide after-hours coverage through an on-call schedule, including nights and weekends

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
One (1) year of full-time professional work providing child welfare services, including social, psychological, or correctional counseling or case management; volunteer services coordination for a children's service program; and/or juvenile classification coordination
Valid driver's license
Must pass a drug screen
Must pass all required background checks, including fingerprinting
Passion for working with youth and adolescents
