About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the growth and retention of Thomson Reuters' corporate customer portfolio
  • Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers on renewals, upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and customer relationships
  • Own and coordinate renewal processes for assigned accounts
  • Manage a portfolio of 200+ customer accounts
  • Engage customers through virtual sales channels and use customer insights to position relevant solutions
  • Close assigned renewal and upsell opportunities within a defined geography or pooled resource model
  • Support territory and account-growth plans focused on retention, expansion, and revenue growth
  • Serve as a key customer contact for sales, renewals, and support-related inquiries
  • Prepare and send quotes, contracts, renewal documentation, and other commercial materials
  • Use customer data, account insights, and sales intelligence to prioritize opportunities and guide conversations
  • Manage opportunities and renewal activity in Salesforce and maintain accurate CRM records
  • Nurture non-digital opportunities requiring consultative or high-touch sales approaches
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, operations, and management teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in SaaS, subscription-based services, or a comparable customer-facing sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume portfolio of customer accounts, ideally 200 or more accounts
  • Experience supporting or managing renewals, retention, upselling, cross-selling, and account-growth initiatives
  • Strong customer-centric mindset and ability to identify relevant commercial opportunities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills
  • Experience using CRM platforms and sales tools, particularly Salesforce
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Analytical skills and ability to use customer data and insights for account planning and sales decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other standard business software tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent performance under pressure
  • Motivated, competitive, and positive mindset with accountability and ownership
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and acquire new product, process, and market knowledge
  • Availability to work a schedule aligned with customers' business hours
  • Experience working with corporate or enterprise customer accounts
  • Experience in a renewal, inside sales, account management, customer success, or sales support role
  • Experience managing opportunities through virtual or digital-first sales motions
  • Knowledge of consultative selling methodologies and customer-needs assessment techniques
  • Experience using data-driven sales workflows, automated outreach tools, and customer-insights platforms
  • Experience supporting geographically distributed sales teams or working within a pooled sales-resource model
  • Ability to identify when a customer opportunity requires a high-touch engagement model
  • Experience working in a performance-driven environment with sales, retention, or revenue-growth targets
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience (preferred)
