Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop high-quality software applications with a geographically distributed team
Architect and build complex, scalable SaaS solutions
Drive technical decisions related to platform architecture, coding standards, and implementation strategies
Contribute across the Agile lifecycle, including design, programming, testing, documentation, quality assurance, and deployment
Lead code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback
Mentor and guide junior team members
Estimate development efforts and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions
Gather requirements and participate in application design with internal and external stakeholders
Provide technical leadership and guidance to management
Help define and shape the technical roadmap for new product development
Explore new technologies, tools, and projects aligned with areas of interest and expertise
Develop and enhance the ONESOURCE Tax Provision application suite, which automates and streamlines corporate income tax provision processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Over 10 years of experience across multiple programming languages and technologies
Extensive experience in software development
Proficiency in .NET development, including C# and VB.NET
Expertise in responsive front-end and single-page application development using Angular
Strong knowledge of REST API design and development
Experience with Swagger and Postman
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB
Familiarity with DataDog for observability, APM, and RUM
Proven experience in cloud-native development using AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform
Experience with agentic AI-First development tools and processes
Solid understanding of web services and web application security
Lead-level expertise in design patterns and N-Tier architecture
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of object-oriented design, algorithms, data structures, and core computer science principles
Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
Experience translating business requirements into analytics solutions and data visualizations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
