Key responsibilities & impact

Research and recommend technical standards and best practices
Work with technology teams and other stakeholders to implement technical standards
Collaborate with business teams, product owners, and project management to define product and process roadmaps
Act as a point of contact for resolving stakeholder issues
Make timely, effective, data-driven decisions aligned with company goals
Work collaboratively with cross-functional and remote teams
Keep current with next-generation technology and development tools
Contribute to process development practices
Deliver solutions against strict timelines in an agile, fast-paced environment
Clearly articulate complex technical issues and share ideas
Participate in peer reviews
Translate business requirements into actionable architectures
Define and update solution roadmaps
Design architectures for current and future enterprise transformation programs
Ensure technology components align with the overall technology strategy
Communicate, maintain, and enforce architecture standards
Participate in the Design Authority structure and Solution Review Board
Work with vendor partners to ensure appropriate solution governance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Required degree level (BA/BSc/MSc/BEng/MEng) in a Technical/Business discipline
Wide variety of Solutions Architecture experience across multiple business contexts
Consulting experience with a strong track record at a leading IT consultancy or large corporate
Experience working with agile teams and methodologies and globally distributed teams
Experience with CRM and Self Service platforms
Experience integrating CRM to Self Service platforms, CRM to ERP, Middleware, and Web Content Management Systems
Application security best practices
Track record of experience within Blue Chip clients
Development/Systems background with full project lifecycle experience
Experience with integration of acquired companies systems and processes and/or divesting the same
Experience developing solution architectures
Experience preparing and maintaining Business process, Data Model, system, sequence, and process flow diagrams
Experience working with diverse, multi-country and company teams
Experience managing or directing work of others
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-motivated, proactive mindset
Organized and methodical approach
Experience defining target architecture designs and roadmaps
Experience in data migration between systems
Ability to analyze and support addressing application performance issues
Preferred certification in TOGAF or another architecture framework
