About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on topics pertinent to client needs
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative research methods to interpret data
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and executive summaries
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients

  • Collaborate with Client Advisory colleagues to share insights and best practices
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and strategy sessions
  • Stay current with legal industry trends, market developments, and emerging research methodologies
  • Support senior team members in delivering business consulting services to law firm clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Market Research, or a related field
  • 3+ years of work experience in an analytical role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to instill confidence, build trust, and cultivate client relationships
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred: A JD, MBA, or other graduate degree
  • Preferred: Law firm or other legal industry experience
  • Preferred: Client-facing consulting or internal advisory experience
  • Preferred: Proficiency in research tools, software, and databases
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Thomson Reuters’ Market Insights platform
