About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle DevOps and middleware requests for development, staging, and production environments
- Operate web applications in an Amazon AWS cloud environment, incorporating AI tools to optimize development, operations, and incident resolution
- Provision and configure AWS environments
- Implement monitoring and monitor web applications
- Deploy web applications developed by the company
- Automate repetitive processes for development, testing, and DevOps teams
- Use generative AI and autonomous agents for scripting, testing, diagnostics, log analysis, troubleshooting, and event correlation
- Use IDEs with integrated AI and create or manage custom skills and prompts
- Develop and implement backup, restoration, and disaster recovery plans
- Install, configure, and administer Windows and Linux services
- Manage and support the server patching lifecycle
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or in the final stages of a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience administering, monitoring, and installing Tomcat/WildFly application servers
- Knowledge of reverse proxies and load balancing for web applications, including Nginx and AWS ELB
- Knowledge of SMTP, Postfix, Exim, and AWS SES
- Experience with Linux and Windows Server
- Knowledge of public cloud operations, including Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of automation using Jenkins and Ansible
- Knowledge of monitoring tools; Datadog is a plus
- Knowledge of shell scripting, PowerShell, and/or Python
- Knowledge of automation using CloudFormation, Ansible, or Terraform
- Hands-on experience with AI tools applied to development and operations, such as Cursor IDE, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT/Claude, or similar tools
- Experience creating prompts and skills/agents for task automation
- Availability for scheduled maintenance outside regular business hours
- Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, ServiceNow, Kanban, Scrum, and ITIL is preferred
- Intermediate or advanced English proficiency is preferred
- Experience building AI agents, MCP, or AI integrations with DevOps pipelines is preferred
