About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deploy and configure cloud-based infrastructure and install the Imagen software solution for customer projects
Configure ImagenWeb using platform editing tools for customer-specific configurations
Write and run bespoke data-migration processes
Develop scripts and automation to improve delivery and content-onboarding workflows
Ensure services meet operability requirements before go-live, including monitoring, alerting, logging, documentation, runbooks, and handover
Support incident-rate reduction through root-cause analysis, problem management, and automation
Work with first-line operations and technical support to improve service recovery times and resolve customer issues
Maintain or improve service levels during changes and service transitions
Communicate with customers through meetings, email, phone, and conference calls
Participate in internal weekly planning meetings and contribute project ideas
Monitor cloud technology developments and recommend improvements to working practices
Follow operational standards, procedures, and best practices
Participate in on-call or out-of-hours support as required

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with cloud technologies, including AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Lambdas, and Function Apps
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions
Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting proprietary software
Experience with Python or Windows PowerShell scripting
Experience with SQL
Thorough understanding of networking standards and protocols
Experience with the latest Windows Server operating systems, including troubleshooting a range of IT issues
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas and solutions to internal and external stakeholders
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to deliver customer deployments to a high standard of accuracy and customer satisfaction
Excellent written and spoken English
Preferred: 3 to 5 years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or technical operations role
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools
Exposure to ITIL-style incident, problem, and change management
Experience in media, broadcast, or video workflows
Working knowledge of HTML, PHP, and CSS
Understanding of XML and XSL transformation
Relevant certifications, such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, AWS, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or ITIL 4
Preferred: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
