About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write summaries for a variety of cases
  • Classify decisions using the inhouse taxonomy and identify case relationships where relevant
  • Update case quantum tracker products with subject-specialist content
  • Utilise AI-powered research and editorial systems daily to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and value-driven outcomes in content development
  • Participate in wider editorial projects and business groups
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Help ensure Westlaw cases products are current, relevant, accessible, and accurate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A law degree and knowledge of the NZ legal system
  • Excellent communication and research skills
  • Ability to interpret, analyse, organise, and communicate complex legal material
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and online legal research platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of its importance from a customer perspective
  • Ability to adapt quickly and respond positively to change
