About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive procurement strategy and operations for Technology spend
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet financial and operational requirements
- Develop departmental business, production, and organizational plans
- Ensure data quality and accuracy in sourcing tools, databases, and platforms
- Provide data quality assurance and comprehensive reporting
- Drive integrated procurement system and operations strategy
- Lead day-to-day procurement operations and support, including compliance, system integration, and spend/supplier management
- Analyze historic spending, existing contracts, and business budgets to identify addressable spending opportunities
- Collaborate with Category Leads to understand business requirements and category strategies
- Define pipelines of potential procurement opportunities
- Draft and prioritize implementation plans for assigned initiatives
- Execute approved initiative pipelines using digital tools such as eRFx/e-Auctions
- Manage risk through contract review and support timely execution
- Resolve complex or unusual problems by identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions
- Develop relationships with key customers and collaborate with Global Category Leads, business, Finance, Legal, and Information Security teams
- Drive contract drafting and negotiation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree
- Significant experience developing and negotiating Technology Procurement agreements valued between $50K and $1M across geographies
- 5+ years of applicable experience across the Procurement value chain, operations, and program management
- Sound understanding of applicable laws and regulations
- Strong understanding of business needs, historic spend, existing contracts, buying practices, and external market drivers
- Expert understanding of cost drivers across Technology sub-categories
- Ability to develop TCO/TVO models and applicable sourcing strategies
- Excellent relationship management and cross-functional leadership skills
- Sourcing practitioner experience with deal architecture and negotiation skills
- Understanding of best-practice sourcing methodology
- Strong experience with contracting processes from drafting to execution
- Knowledge of sourcing marketplace and industry trends
- Expert analytics skills
- Ability to develop business cases, contract summaries, and RFx materials
- Experience with Source to Pay tools such as Ariba/Fieldglass
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience building strong relationships with senior business executives
- Preferred: Advanced degree or certification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Preferred: Experience leading procurement transformation or digital enablement initiatives
- Preferred: Experience with enterprise risk management and supplier risk assessment frameworks
- Preferred: Track record managing multi-million dollar procurement portfolios
- Preferred: Familiarity with CIPS or other procurement excellence standards
