About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a team of around 10 consultants and trainers delivering SurePrep implementations and training
Oversee day-to-day delivery, coaching, and performance development
Own the quality and consistency of implementation, consulting, and training engagements
Improve the tools and working practices used to deliver engagements profitably
Represent Professional Services in discussions with SurePrep product, technology, and sales teams
Ensure product decisions reflect implementation needs and customer outcomes
Partner with blended learning and enablement teams to build and maintain workshop and training content
Manage team capacity, utilization, and project assignments across concurrent engagements
Co-create Professional Services strategic initiatives with senior leadership
Hire and onboard new staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of combined experience in professional services and public accounting
Hands-on preparation or review of individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
Experience overseeing, training, and coaching staff
Deep, hands-on SurePrep product knowledge, including 1040SCAN, TaxCaddy, and Ready to Review
Working command of SurePrep implementation and support processes
Understanding of how the SurePrep suite integrates with related Thomson Reuters tax and accounting products
Experience delivering SurePrep implementations and product training directly to tax and accounting firm customers through one-on-one, webinar, and workshop formats
Experience managing customer relationships through onboarding, adoption, and expansion
Experience representing team and customer perspectives in cross-product discussions with SurePrep product and technology partners
Experience testing and providing feedback on new functionality
Experience developing SurePrep workshop content, training materials, and internal resources
Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and/or equivalent experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to achieve objectives by collaborating with peers, stakeholders, and executive leadership
