About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as senior executive advisor for strategic law firm accounts
  • Engage firm leadership and practitioners on transactional trends, AI strategy, and transformation roadmaps
  • Act as strategic voice for Noetica and CoCounsel deal intelligence capabilities
  • Translate platform capabilities into competitive positioning and client value
  • Help transactional partners and deal teams understand AI-native market intelligence applications
  • Build peer-level relationships with firm leadership influencing strategic technology decisions
  • Partner with Account Executives across pre-sale, close, and post-sale lifecycle
  • Develop perspectives on AI’s impact on transactional practice economics, staffing, pricing, and workflow
  • Surface executive-level market insights to Thomson Reuters product and business leadership
  • Represent Thomson Reuters at legal industry forums, client roundtables, and executive events
  • Champion Noetica’s deal-term benchmarking, natural-language search, risk-signal identification, and market-trend capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Senior practicing transactional lawyer background with senior-level industry relationships
  • 5+ years of practice leadership experience
  • Meaningful experience inside an AmLaw 200 or equivalent global law firm with strong transactional practices
  • Direct familiarity with transactional practice, including M&A and finance workflows, deal staffing, partner adoption, and workflow friction points
  • Grounded perspective on how AI changes legal staffing, pricing, client delivery, and competitive positioning in transactional work
  • Fluency in the legal technology landscape, including Westlaw, CoCounsel, Practical Law, and deal intelligence tools such as Noetica
  • Understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to articulate Thomson Reuters’ differentiated legal AI proposition
  • Ability to operate credibly with firm leadership without carrying a quota
  • Executive communication skills for senior partners, committee presentations, and practice group strategy sessions
  • Collaborative ability to work with CSMs, Practical Law Editors, AI Solutions Architects, Forward Deployed Engineers, Professional Services, Noetica, and product leadership
