Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coach and develop sales team members to achieve sales and revenue targets for the Print business
  • Drive employee engagement and retention
  • Lead the sales team and contribute to overall department success
  • Ensure achievement of sales quotas and goals for the assigned division
  • Provide developmental opportunities, feedback, and coaching to Inside Sales staff
  • Address customer issues proactively and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Sustain a professional, respectful, team-based sales environment
  • Identify and resolve departmental issues affecting teamwork and goal achievement
  • Implement sales campaigns aligned with Inside Sales department objectives
  • Provide strategic direction for optimizing the Inside Sales Consultant role
  • Monitor consultant performance through call monitoring and other measures
  • Coordinate releases of new policies, procedures, and campaigns
  • Interview and hire new Inside Sales Consultants
  • Monitor goals and job accountabilities; provide employee-relations and performance-management guidance
  • Conduct annual performance and salary reviews
  • Implement promotions and job changes
  • Evaluate opportunities for additional department automation
  • Maintain working relationships with field staff
  • Partner with Marketing and Product Managers on Inside Sales programs, training, scripts, lists, and targets
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth information flow
  • Evaluate product campaign results and plan future strategies
  • Participate in company task force assignments
  • Assume other responsibilities as required or requested

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree required
  • 3–5 years of experience in Inside Sales required, preferably in a Business to Business setting
  • Equivalent applicable experience will be considered
  • Strong sales coaching experience and skills
  • Strong leadership, people management, and team building skills
  • Previous leadership or management experience in a sales environment strongly preferred
  • Ability to adapt to change
  • Working knowledge of outbound and inbound telesales, basic marketing principles and practices, and personal computer systems
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and initiate programs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to articulate concepts clearly and document procedures
  • Results-oriented and self-starting characteristics
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internal business systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and meet schedules and deadlines
  • Strong analytical, evaluation, problem-solving, planning, and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Advanced degree preferred
