About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and investigate requirements and legislation in markets Thomson Reuters plans to enter
- Maintain and monitor up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements in currently supported markets
- Create compliance-related content, including blogs and updates, for internal and external readers
- Collaborate with integration, marketing, delivery, and other stakeholders when launching new markets
- Present ONESOURCE compliance solutions and relevant business cases to technical and C-level customer audiences
- Address simple to complex queries from internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to ONESOURCE Thomson Reuters’ global e-invoicing and continuous transaction control compliance expansion
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 1-3 years of experience in e-invoicing/CTC, tax technology and/or indirect tax
- Legal or compliance experience in digital, privacy and/or security areas may be considered with readiness to apply that knowledge to digital settings and learn new skills
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Relevant academic degree, e.g. Business, Law, Economics, or similar, with relevant work experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment and document information clearly
- Familiarity with MS Office including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and SharePoint
- Experience and/or eagerness to learn and stay informed about indirect tax, e-invoicing, and tax technology trends
- Successfully pass an extended background check (criminal and credit)
- Knowledge of other languages, including French, German, Arabic, Mandarin and more, preferred but not required
- Experience in ERP, B2B and data integration, including managed services, preferred but not required
- Previous experience in compliance and regulatory analysis preferred but not required
