About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a high-performing engineering team within the Tax & Accounting area
- Drive business results through technical leadership, operational excellence, and cross-functional partnership
- Lead adoption and evolution of modern software engineering practices, cloud architecture, and Generative AI capabilities
- Guide effective technology execution and contribute to product roadmap and execution strategy
- Promote transformation toward efficient and scalable ways of working
- Ensure high-quality, high-speed software delivery focused on customer experience and business impact
- Establish and reinforce Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Trunk-Based Development, Progressive Delivery, Visual Management, WIP Control, and Small Batch Delivery
- Build a consistent, high-quality, and fast technology operation
- Lead implementation and evolution of loosely coupled cloud architecture
- Strengthen cloud-native development, FinOps, SRE, monitoring and observability, incident management, capacity planning, security, and resilience standards
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of approximately 10 to 15 professionals
- Drive performance management, succession development, mentoring, and talent development
- Partner with Product, Business, Customer Support / CS, and other Technology Business Units
- Align technology efforts with business priorities and customer needs
- Optimize processes, team capacity, delivery models, resource allocation, and return on investment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Professional English proficiency is required
- Significant experience in technology leadership roles, including experience managing engineering teams
- Strong background in software development and solution architecture
- Demonstrated experience with modern software engineering practices and engineering transformation
- Experience leading teams in environments that have already adopted or are actively scaling AI-enabled practices
- Strong experience working with cloud technologies and modern distributed systems
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and partner effectively with business and product leaders
- Experience leading teams in fast-changing, ambiguous, or evolving environments
- Preferred: Experience in Tax & Accounting, enterprise platforms, or similarly complex product environments
- Preferred: Exposure to GenAI adoption, engineering productivity transformation, and operational scale initiatives
- Preferred: Experience implementing or leading FinOps, SRE, and engineering efficiency programs
