About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and execution for CoCounsel Legal, from positioning through launch and ongoing growth
  • Develop differentiated messaging and value propositions around AI capabilities, content grounding, and enterprise value
  • Lead major product launches and cross-portfolio initiatives with Product, Sales, Demand Generation, and Communications
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis, including analysis of emerging AI players
  • Partner with Product leadership to influence the development roadmap using market insights and customer feedback
  • Synthesize customer insights into actionable go-to-market strategies
  • Enable Sales with core narratives, objection handling, and competitive positioning
  • Drive pipeline and growth through lifecycle marketing and go-to-market optimization
  • Mentor and influence product marketing managers and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Act as a thought leader in product marketing excellence and novel functional applications of AI

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of product marketing or related experience, with demonstrated progression in scope and impact
  • Strong experience in B2B enterprise software, ideally in AI, SaaS, or legal tech
  • Proven track record of leading go-to-market strategy for complex or category-defining products
  • Deep understanding of AI/GenAI positioning, content-driven products, or knowledge-based platforms preferred
  • Experience influencing product strategy and senior stakeholders at Director+ / VP level
  • Strong expertise in competitive positioning and market differentiation, particularly in fast-moving markets
  • Demonstrated ability to drive measurable business impact, including pipeline, adoption, and revenue
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, including executive-level content creation
  • Ability to operate in highly cross-functional environments and influence without authority
  • Experience mentoring or leading other marketers is a plus
  • Experience in the Legal software market preferred
  • Knowledge of and/or experience working directly with General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer personas preferred
  • Direct B2B sales experience preferred
