About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Architect and implement endpoint security solutions, including EDR/EPP, Vulnerability Management, DLP, and AI Security
Drive adoption and integration of endpoint visibility and security tools across cloud and on-premises environments
Conduct proof-of-concept testing for security configurations, policies, and emerging technologies
Administer endpoint security platforms, ensuring agent health, console performance, and enterprise integration
Analyze and troubleshoot security issues, agent connectivity disruptions, policy conflicts, and exclusion lists
Act as the escalation point for endpoint-related incidents
Collaborate with IT, engineering, SOC, compliance, and risk management teams
Align endpoint security policies with organizational goals and regulatory frameworks including NIST 800-53, PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP
Champion cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives
Document playbooks, runbooks, and SOPs
Conduct knowledge sharing and mentorship for IT teams, incident responders, and cybersecurity stakeholders
Maintain current knowledge of endpoint attack tactics and security technologies

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of experience in endpoint security engineering, with a strong focus on SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Qualys, Proofpoint, and similar tools
10+ years of Infrastructure Engineering experience
Proficiency in designing and deploying endpoint detection and response (EDR) systems, including performance optimization, policy configuration, and troubleshooting
Advanced knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows operating systems
Expertise in OS-level hardening and policy compliance
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOX, or CIS benchmarks and understanding of FedRAMP standards
Experience deploying containers and workloads, such as Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, Fargate, and GKE Autopilot
File Integrity Monitoring (FIM)
Policy Compliance
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across IT, DevOps, and Security teams
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or vendor-specific endpoint-tool certifications are a plus
Cloud service provider infrastructure experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc. is preferred
Scripting language experience with Shell scripting, Python, PowerShell, Bash, and Zsh is preferred
