About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Learn, evaluate, and leverage cutting-edge testing technologies and tools
- Research industry trends and emerging best practices to improve software quality
- Utilize and enhance automation frameworks, platforms, and design patterns to reduce delivery lead time
- Embed quality across the entire CI/CD pipeline
- Provide actionable code review feedback to Development and QA team members
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Promote high-quality releases using team and organizational expertise
- Perform manual verification and validation of new features, enhancements, and defect fixes
- Design, develop, and maintain test cases and test automation strategies
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, estimation, and backlog grooming
- Support product releases and assist with Tier 3 production support
- Champion a strong quality mindset throughout the software development lifecycle
- Define automation architecture and testing standards
- Mentor teams and drive CI/CD quality gates
- Lead end-to-end quality engineering initiatives independently
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in software automation testing or software development
- Expert-level Playwright, API Testing, and test case writing
- Strong hands-on experience in C#, manual testing, AI-driven automation, and Claude for QA strategy, framework design, and test automation leadership
- Strong expertise in UI and API test automation using Playwright with C#
- Hands-on experience with BDD-based automation frameworks such as SpecFlow for UI and API testing
- Proven experience authoring and maintaining API and end-to-end automated test suites
- Experience testing complex, distributed, cloud-based solutions
- Ability to execute test automation at scale in fast-paced delivery environments
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot
- Hands-on experience contributing to or enhancing in-house automation frameworks, tools, and utilities
- Proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language
- Experience with performance and scalability testing
- JMeter scripting and test execution experience for load, stress, or performance testing
- Equivalent practical experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree
