About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the operations organization, including fulfillment, supply chain, and logistics
Own financial reporting and analysis for operational cost structures
Support forecasting, planning, and strategic decision-making
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and variance analyses for operations and senior leadership
Build and maintain financial models for forecasting fulfillment, labor, freight, and warehousing costs
Analyze throughput, cost per unit, labor efficiency, inventory turns, and days of supply KPIs
Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to analyze cost drivers and process performance at aggregate and facility/SKU levels
Model the financial impact of process changes and capex/opex tradeoffs
Lead ongoing tracking of initiative performance
Contribute to strategic projects focused on cost optimization and operational efficiency
Participate in annual planning, monthly business reviews, and cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or a related analytical field
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Advanced Excel skills and comfort with complex financial modeling
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets to draw actionable insights
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Employment with Thrive Market requires that employees be based in the United States throughout employment
Quarterly travel to fulfillment centers
Experience with SQL or BI tools (Domo, Tableau, etc.) strongly preferred
Experience with ERP/planning/forecasting/reporting tools (NetSuite, Adaptive, etc.) strongly preferred
Experience in e-commerce, retail, or CPG is a plus
