About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide clinical supervision remotely to employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
- Conduct quarterly quality assurance with each NP
- Be available via text/email Monday–Friday during business hours and respond within the same business day
- Review charts/progress notes as required by state laws and governing bodies
- Provide additional NP supervision based on clinical need or practice complexity
- Complete a one-page Google Document after monthly supervision for each collaborating NP
- Stay knowledgeable about company policies and program guidelines
- Complete annual HR-required training
Requirements
What you’ll need- MD/DO in Psychiatry
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Texas
- Active DEA registration in Texas
- 3+ years of practice experience, or 1+ year if board-certified or hospital-based
- Minimum 2 years of experience supervising residents or mid-levels
- Willingness to take a minimum of 4 NPs
- No malpractice payout, licensure disciplinary action, or criminal/professional investigations in the last 5 years
- Must have a compact license, be willing to obtain one, or be licensed in multiple states
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire
- Position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
