About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a primary systems administrator for Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian, Slack, Claude, GitHub, and other key tools
Implement and maintain integrations with other platforms and tools
Serve as an escalation point for the IT Support team
Troubleshoot complex technical problems and document processes
Triage and handle inbound IT Infrastructure requests from the business
Scope requirements for SSO and other integrations
Configure SaaS tools and use automation to improve inefficient business processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency through systems design, automation, and AI tools
Manage data, security, and legal governance processes
Maintain compliance with security standards including least-privilege access, patching, two-factor authentication, and VPN
Monitor system health and troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues
Participate in on-call rotation for critical components and changes, including change and incident management
Drive and contribute to technology projects focused on delivering business value
Own infrastructure systems end-to-end from intake and implementation through ongoing operations and continuous improvement

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of IT systems engineering experience in a distributed, enterprise IT environment
Proven experience administering Okta, Google Workspace, Atlassian, GitHub, Claude, and Slack
Experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform or GitOps
AI-first mentality; experience enabling tools such as Claude and ChatGPT for colleagues
Proficiency building automations with Okta Workflows, Jira Automations, and Slack Workflows
Working knowledge of identity and access management systems, services, and protocols including SAML, SCIM, LDAP, OAuth2.0/OIDC
Some proficiency in scripting languages, including Python and Shell
Understanding of security and compliance methodologies and practices
Experience with security incident response processes and tools
Ability to work from an eligible United States, Ontario or British Columbia location, or the Philippines
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation for critical components and changes
