About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ship user-facing mobile features end-to-end, from design handoff through release
- Build new experiences and enhance existing workflows in customer- and service-professional-facing Thumbtack applications
- Work across iOS and Android when needed
- Use agentic tools and frontier models to accelerate delivery
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to scope, build, and iterate on features
- Shape GenAI integration strategy
- Deliver integrations with major partners
- Build experiences for new verticals and industries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fluency with either Android or iOS development
- Deep hands-on expertise with the modern language and UI stack on at least one platform: Kotlin + Jetpack Compose on Android, or Swift + SwiftUI on iOS
- 6+ years of industry software experience
- Significant experience building consumer-facing mobile features
