About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide evidence-based, patient-centered virtual gynecology and reproductive health care through telehealth
  • Evaluate, counsel, treat, and manage concerns including contraception, menopause, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, fertility, pregnancy options, sexual health, STIs, genital concerns, vaginal/vulvar/urinary symptoms, pelvic pain, and gynecology follow-up
  • Recognize and address related medical, behavioral health, and preventive care needs within scope
  • Coordinate with primary care, mental health, in-person clinical, and specialty teams
  • Determine when concerns require in-person examination, laboratory testing, imaging, specimen collection, procedures, or referral
  • Deliver inclusive, trauma-informed, evidence-based care
  • Partner with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, mental health clinicians, care coordinators, and clinic teams
  • Develop virtual care pathways, clinical protocols, decision-support tools, and practice standards
  • Use technology and data for clinical decision-making, documentation, quality improvement, and efficient workflows
  • Attend training on Tia’s care pathways, menopause care, sexual wellness, weight management, dermatology, documentation, technology, and care coordination workflows as applicable

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, NCC, or NCCPA
  • Active California license and DEA registration required
  • At least two years of independent outpatient clinical experience following completion of training
  • Demonstrated experience independently evaluating and managing a broad range of gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns
  • Core experience in gynecology, women’s health, reproductive health, or sexual health; or broad outpatient experience across gynecology and primary care with substantial gynecology-focused clinical responsibility
  • Ability to provide high-quality telehealth care and identify when in-person examination, testing, imaging, procedure, or higher-level care is required
  • Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
  • Data-driven, adaptable, and comfortable partnering with Operations
  • Strong existing foundation in outpatient gynecology and women’s health
  • Must work PST timezone
