About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate, counsel, treat, and manage patients through telehealth for gynecologic and reproductive health concerns
- Provide contraceptive counseling and management
- Assess and follow up on menopause, perimenopause, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, fertility, pregnancy options, sexual health, STI, genital, vaginal, vulvar, urinary, menstrual, and pelvic pain concerns
- Provide gynecology follow-up and appropriate cervical cancer screening follow-up and results counseling
- Recognize and address related medical, behavioral health, and preventive care needs within scope
- Coordinate with primary care, mental health, in-person clinical, and specialty teams
- Determine when concerns require in-person examination, laboratory testing, imaging, specimen collection, procedure, or referral
- Deliver inclusive, trauma-informed, evidence-based, patient-centered care
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, mental health clinicians, care coordinators, and clinic teams
- Contribute to virtual care pathways, clinical protocols, decision-support tools, and practice standards
- Use technology and data for clinical decision-making, documentation, quality improvement, and efficient virtual workflows
Requirements
What you’ll need- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current national board certification, such as ANCC, AANP, NCC, or NCCPA
- Active California license and DEA registration required
- At least two years of independent outpatient clinical experience following completion of training
- Demonstrated experience independently evaluating and managing a broad range of gynecologic, reproductive health, and sexual health concerns
- Core experience in gynecology, women’s health, reproductive health, or sexual health; or broad outpatient experience across gynecology and primary care with substantial gynecology-focused clinical responsibility
- Ability to provide high-quality telehealth care and identify when symptoms or conditions require in-person examination, testing, imaging, procedure, or higher level of care
- Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and patient-centered care
- Data-driven, adaptable, and comfortable partnering with Operations to balance clinical quality, access, patient experience, and workflow efficiency
- Strong existing foundation in outpatient gynecology and women’s health
- Must work PST timezone
