About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform operations and maintenance activities for CORE NETWORK VAS
- Support the implementation team in launching new products and services across fixed, mobile, and corporate environments
- Program VAS-based network equipment
- Develop scripts and processes for automation using Artificial Intelligence, Python, Java, and HTML
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of Layer 2/Layer 3 (L2/L3) protocols
- Develop metrics for service-level analysis
- Conduct trend analysis and behavioral analysis based on statistical network and service data
- Liaise with the Procurement team to define and track RFI and RFQ processes, as well as with Engineering, IT, Corporate Security, and Commercial teams to provide technological support for new services
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies, partners/customers, and system and service vendors
- Participate in and provide on-site support for interactions with internal and external company entities
- Develop disaster recovery plans and oversee their execution
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology
- Experience supporting operations and maintenance for telecommunications operators
- Knowledge of logical security systems and interpretation of statistical data based on behavioral analysis
- Experience in converged environments involving fixed and mobile networks
- Experience validating new solutions in production environments
- Strong troubleshooting experience with Core Network elements and IP networks (routers and switches), including medium- and high-complexity issues
- Experience with operating systems (Linux, Unix, etc.) and data center infrastructure equipment (VMs, servers, storage, switches, routers, etc.)
- Knowledge of databases, SQL, MongoDB, NoSQL, MySQL, and other technologies
- Knowledge of programming and automation technologies (AI, Shell scripting, Python, Ansible, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of STP and TCP/IP protocols; application and routing protocols including DNS, DHCP, FTP, SFTP, NTP, SSH, SNMP, and OSPF; advanced knowledge of SIGTRAN, SIP, SS7 (CAMEL, MAP, ISUP, INAP), and Diameter signaling protocols
- Experience with data center NMS monitoring tools, HPE OpenView, and Zabbix
- Experience managing network devices in virtual environments
