About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage day-to-day operations of industrial buildings, facilities, and data centers, with an emphasis on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers, and maintenance contractors
- Support the emergency correction of failures and oversee scheduled activities, SLAs, and contract KPIs
- Support budget planning and optimize OPEX expenses
- Define installation standards, requirements, acceptance criteria, and commissioning procedures for new infrastructure equipment
- Evaluate maintenance methodologies to maximize infrastructure availability
- Analyze data and prepare reports and action plans
- Prepare, review, and approve MOPs and monitor critical activities
- Promote quality, organizational values, and ESG practices
- Conduct supplier meetings
- Develop solutions for process automation
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed by maintenance contractors
- Deliver on-the-job training
- Identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation plans
- Monitor energy efficiency and the performance of HVAC systems, UPSs, and generators
- Monitor BMS/DCIM systems to analyze alarms and trends and anticipate failures
- Monitor Change Management in critical environments
- Evaluate automation, IoT, and artificial intelligence solutions for predictive and preventive maintenance
- Develop technical training programs
- Lead response plans for critical incidents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree completed, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Telecommunications Engineering
- Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of critical infrastructure in telecommunications, IT, and data center environments
- Experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and suppliers, including on-call duties and rapid incident response
- Strong knowledge of AC electrical systems, power generation, project interpretation, demand sizing, and equipment operation
- Strong knowledge of DC systems, FCC operation, UPSs, and battery banks
- Experience sizing and designing electrical power, protection, and selectivity systems for medium- and low-voltage applications
- Knowledge of lightning protection systems (SPDA) and compliance assessments
- Experience operating and sizing HVAC systems
- Knowledge of building automation and BMS communication protocols and monitoring networks
- Practical application of NR, NBR, ANSI, and TIA standards
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI and Excel
- Experience managing budgets
- Technical knowledge of telecommunications networks
- Experience preparing and approving MOPs and monitoring critical activities
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Experience using AI tools for automation, data analysis, presentations, reports, and action plans
- Experience with automation and technological innovation projects, applying IoT and digital solutions
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Lean Six Sigma is desirable
