About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work rotating shifts providing N3 technical support for the IP Backbone
Directly handle ongoing incidents and IP service degradation
Perform advanced analysis and troubleshooting of L2 and L3 network protocols
Provide technical support to N1, N2, and field teams during complex outages
Lead technical engagement with vendors (N4) while troubleshooting failures involving routers and IP solutions
Support emergency corrective actions to restore service
Work in real time to resolve complex failures, major incidents, and service degradation
Provide technical support to N1, N2, and field teams and engage technically with N4 vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience operating and maintaining IP Backbone networks in multivendor environments
Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, MPLS)
Experience with advanced IP network troubleshooting in critical environments
Knowledge of IP Core and Edge architectures and network interconnections
Experience in converged environments (fixed, mobile, and enterprise networks)
Knowledge of operations automation and operational scripting
Knowledge of programming languages applied to network analysis and automation (Python; SQL is a plus)
Bachelor’s degree completed
Availability for a hybrid work model: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Availability Monday through Friday, with weekend on-call coverage from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Residence in any Brazilian location where TIM has an office (Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Belo Horizonte, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Brasília, Salvador, or Belém)
