About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform specialized maintenance and operations for mobile network and primary fixed-network systems
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for corrective maintenance processes across TIM’s transport network
Support the technical development of Level 1 monitoring and incident-handling teams
Participate in monitoring and troubleshooting automation initiatives
Diagnose and resolve simple and complex failures involving transport protection, routing, and resilience protocols
Liaise with Level 3 Support, Engineering, OSS teams, and vendors as needed
Perform interventions across access, aggregation, distribution, and core layers, as well as on routers, switches, UBB, Wi-Fi, and Metro Full IP MPLS networks
Participate in projects, process improvements, tool development, and the acceptance testing of new solutions
Prepare incident reports, analyses, and inputs for Solution Management
Train Level 1 and Level 2 teams and align technical knowledge across the area

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree completed
Knowledge of software, hardware, Linux, and Windows
Knowledge of network design and architecture
Knowledge of optical fiber, reference levels, and testing instruments
Experience with continuous improvement
Experience with data protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VoIP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, EAPS, xSTP, Metro Ethernet, and UBB
Knowledge of the OSS tools used by the company is preferred
Knowledge of 2G, 3G, and 4G mobile networks and VAS is preferred
Industry certifications are preferred
