About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support real estate asset sales operations
- Map and manage the complete set of applicable licenses, ensuring nationwide standardization, compliance with legal requirements, and valid licenses across the entire real estate portfolio
- Classify assets, prioritize critical cases, and develop action plans to mitigate the risk of fines or shutdowns
- Liaise with municipal authorities, fire departments, and notary offices on critical processes, supporting the resolution of licensing roadblocks
- Maintain a structured database with history, status, and expiration alerts
- Manage and monitor Legalization department KPIs and propose action plans to mitigate risks and impacts
- Prepare monthly reports on the status of the licensed portfolio, renewal processes, and management dashboards for presentation to C-level executives
- Control licensing costs, support budget forecasting, and implement process improvements
- Assess licensing requirements for new addresses, buildings, and stores, as well as address changes or changes in business activities
- Handle non-renewal cases and legal requirements, defining action plans to ensure operational continuity
- Monitor the performance, deadlines, SLAs, and quality of licensing service providers
- Liaise with company departments that provide supporting documentation for licensing processes
- Address legal requirements arising from internal and external audits
- Monitor licensing processes for administrative, mixed-use, and distribution center buildings, as well as stores
- Regularize real estate assets with notary offices and municipal authorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering
- Experience in licensing and regularizing properties with public authorities
- License portfolio management and regulatory compliance
- Experience mitigating regulatory risks and managing contingencies
- Experience preparing and monitoring KPIs and executive reports
- Experience structuring databases and governing information
- Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and lead regulatory matters
- Vendor and contract management, including SLA and performance management
